Sara Schaefer
Sara Schaefer received her masters in nursing from UNC Chapel Hill although she is a die-hard Blue Devils fan.
She's had more than 15 years of experience in pediatrics including emergency services and pediatric urgent care. She has also been an adjunct faculty at Duke School of Nursing and enjoys teaching. She loves empowering parents through parenting struggles and building trusting relationships with the kids. She has four of her own (all girls)! She is a passionate advocate for the advanced nursing profession and improved access to healthcare. She currently is the social media chair of the NC chapter of NAPNAP (National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners).
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, leading women's bible studies, making cooking messes with her kids, and having date nights with her husband, Ryan.
Jacklyn is a medical assistant at our office. Jacklyn brings a positive attitude to serve you and Spanish communication skills to our patients. Jacklyn takes care of our front desk, administrative and receives the patients. Jacklyn is our care coordinator.
Dr.Radhika S.Gopan
As our name Tots n Teens Pediatrics implies, we treat tots, tweens and teens - children of all ages from the newborn up to 18 years young. Your care provider is Dr. Radhika S.Gopan, a Board Certified Pediatrician with several years of clinical experience.
Dr. Gopan has worked in Oman, UAE (Dubai), India and served the underserved population in South Carolina and rural part of Tennessee.
Dr. Gopan did her Residency from Brooklyn, New York and obtained a degree in medicine from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India.
Dr. Gopan speaka fluent English and Tamil. She also speaks Hindi, some Arabic, and some medical Spanish. When she is not treating patients Dr. Gopan loves to read and practice Yoga.
